How do I order books once I find them?
Once you have found your book using browse links, you can add those titles to you shopping cart. Once you have finished shopping you could click on the checkout link which appear on the top navigation bar. Once you submit your order, you would get a reply from us about the availability of the titles that you have ordered, within 2 working days. At a given point of time all the titles may not be available, we would definitely make available those titles which are out of stock. In our reply we would also inform you how much time it would take to get those titles which are out of stock and whether there would be any change in prices. Once we inform you about the availability of the titles ordered by you, you can send us the payment accordingly.
How much time
would it take to receive my orders?
To deliver your orders, it would take about 6 - 8 working days after the
receipt of payment.
How do I pay?
Good News! Now you can pay by Credit Card
(Master/Visa).
Once we inform you about the availability of the titles ordered by you,
you can download the Payment Advice form from http://www.strandbookstall.com/store/PaymentAdvice.htm
. Fill in this form and fax it to us on 022 - 22051754 or courier/post
it to us to our Mumbai address. Also please mention your order no on
this form. You can also pay through Demand Drafts or Money Orders.
Customers residing within Mumbai and Bangalore city limits can send
local cheques.
How much do I
pay for shipping?
WE are sorry to announce that from 2nd April, 2005
we shall not be able to give Free Postage because the postal rates have
gone up very very steeply. BUT WE SHALL MAINTAIN AS USUAL OUR VERY VERY
LOW PRICES. POSTAGE WILL BE CHARGED AT
COST.
What about the
books which are not listed on the website?
Those titles which are not listed on the site will
be procured and made available within a short period of time. If a
particular title has to be imported, the same will be done within 6 to 8
weeks from the date of placement of the order and please ask for a
quotation and payment in advance.
Do you ship outside
India?
Yes
we do ship outside India. Normally the orders which are from outside the
country are shipped through "sea-mail". The charges for
sea-mail depends on the weight of the consignment.
